In adherence with National preventive measures implemented around the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual ASW Harper’s School Art Competition has been suspended. We acknowledge that many students had been working diligently on their entries before the closure of all educational institutions in mid-March. We strongly encourage these students to continue to be creative and develop their pieces during this time away from the classroom. We also suggest families encourage their school aged children to participate in the activity during their time at home. The rules for the competition can be found on www.sailingweek.com/schoolart/ or by clicking here.
Once schools are reopened, we will announce a new deadline for the 2020 competition, hopefully participation by schools across Antigua and Barbuda.
The ASW Harper’s School Arts Competition is one of the high points of the ASW community activities and for many years the winning entry has become the Welcome sign at Cobbs Cross corner. It is a tradition we look forward to presenting to you again in 2021.
