Sailing icon Philip Walwyn, former Commodore of St. Kitts Yacht Club, has tragically passed away after falling overboard only a short distance from his destination at Falmouth, England after his single-handed passage across the Atlantic Ocean from Nova Scotia. Philip was a friend to many of us in Antigua and participated on a regular basis in many events including Antigua Sailing Week.
