The Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda is the Queen of England’s representative in Antigua. The Governor General is the Head of State and we are very fortunate that each successive Governor General attends the final awards ceremony of Antigua Sailing Week and awards the prizes to each of the crews. In 2014 a new Governor General, His Excellency Dr Sir Rodney Williams was appointed.
