Antigua Sailing Week is pleased to announce a new partnership for the 2023 regatta as it aligns with award-winning Day Chaser Cocktails, a ready-to-drink spirit-based canned cocktail, made with with real fruit juice, sparkling water and real vodka and tequila. Launched in 2022 and widely available across the United States and now the Caribbean, Day Chaser is the ideal accompaniment for those living an active lifestyle of adventure.
Distributed locally by AS Bryden & Sons, Day Chaser Cocktails are vodka and tequila based and feature an assortment of styles, the highlight of which is Buda Berry, an ode to Antigua’s sister island, Barbuda. The partnership places Day Chaser as the Official Drink of the ASW Chase The Race campaign, which is the ultimate way for spectators and fans of racing to get up close to watch daily racing along the south coast of Antigua. Additionally, the product will also be readily available at all official bars at the Antigua Yacht Club, on the beach at Lay Day and Nelson’s Dockyard during the 7day event.
All Day Chasers are 100 calories, certified gluten free, with only 2g carbs, 1 gram of sugar and no artificial ingredients and have the perfect balance of spirit, real fruit juice, natural flavouring, and carbonation.
“This alignment is an exciting one for us as it marks the first international partnership for Day Chaser. Our easy drinking canned cocktails are certain to enhance the ways in which sailors and non-sailors will have an unforgettable time at the 54th Antigua Sailing Week. We couldn’t be prouder to serve our Buda Berry Vodka and other styles throughout the week,’ says Bridget Blacklock, Chief Commercial Officer, Vermont Cider Company.
“With less than 5 weeks to go we’re pleased to welcome Day Chaser to our event, which is the perfect partner to compliment our Chase the Race activity” says ASW President, Alison Sly-Adams. She went on to say “The opportunity to introduce this brand new product to the island combined with securing a partner for our Chase the Race sub-brand is a match made in strategic heaven and we look forward to building on this new relationship in years to come.”
Alongside the well-established Wadadli Cats Excursion, new for 2023 is an exclusive Dream Yacht Charter Luxury Catamaran limited to groups of 8 people per day, and for real adventure enthusiasts, a 25-minute CalvinAir helicopter fly over to see the action from the air.
