With just over five weeks to go before the start of Antigua Sailing Week, the online store has now launched with a full range of regatta gear. Technical garments are from the Gill North America range, the Official Exclusive Clothing Sponsor of Antigua Sailing Week 2014. Of the new partnership President of Gill North America, David Pritchard says:
‘Antigua Sailing Week is seeing growing participation and our involvement is a natural extension of our regatta support in the Caribbean. Gill has enjoyed a growing market share in the Caribbean over the past five years, in part due to the development of our UV ranges ideally suited to the region. We are therefore delighted that we have the opportunity to work with Antigua Sailing Week for 2014 and onwards.’
The Antigua Sailing Week Gill collection is a combination of marine causal and technical styles including the new Elements collection. Elements styles look great on or off the boat and are made from a very comfortable cotton fabric. The collection also features branded UV technical shirts and hats. For the Caribbean’s warm water, warm air, wet conditions these quick-dry fabrics are fabulous – very breathable fabrics that manage the high air temperatures well.
Everything Gill offers is innovative and good value. Product quality is a key driver in the business. It’s part of the value-added that Gill offers every customer and the Antigua Sailing Week Gill collection is no different.
Alongside the Gill collection, a tight range of souvenir t-shirts will be available in 100% cotton, in men’s short and long sleeve styles, and 95% cotton, 5% lycra in ladies styles. The T-shirts are being produced in Antigua by Ink – We Print Tees, a new collaboration between Taryn Doram. Of the new partnership Doram says: ‘INK is extremely excited to partner with ASW 2014 as a service provider. We look forward to complementing the standards that this event has set over the years with our equally high standards and drive. INK prints tees and brings focused, inventive, and innovative designs to life. By the end of ASW 2014, we expect everyone to be “Thinking INK!”.
