Antigua Sailing Week

Yachts from all over the world will arrive in English and Falmouth Harbours to participate in the one of the world’s major sailing events, the 50th Antigua Sailing Week – to be held from the 29th of April to the 5th of May, 2017. From small beginnings this regatta has developed over 50 years to become one of the preeminent yacht racing events in the Caribbean and one of the most prestigious worldwide.

Peters & May Round Antigua Race

Antigua Sailing Week 2012 re-introduced the now-famous Round Antigua Race. The Peters & May Round Antigua Race will return again in 2017 on Saturday, April 29 with more classes and more exciting racing than ever before!

Guadeloupe to Antigua Race

Every year Antigua Sailing Week features a Guadeloupe to Antigua Race the Friday before the week’s racing begins. The event is organised in conjunction with Antigua Yacht Club and the Triskell Organisation in Guadeloupe and serves as a feeder race for boats coming from the islands to the south of Antigua. However, many boats already in Antigua preparing for the week-long regatta often take this opportunity to head south to Guadeloupe specifically to participate in this annual race.

NONSUCH BAY RS ELITE CHALLENGE

Antigua Sailing Week held a new and exciting event on Pigeon Beach, Falmouth Harbour for the first time on Lay Day 2013. The event, known as the Nonsuch Bay RS Elite Challenge, is a one-day invitational one-design racing event featuring 24-foot RS Elite keel boats. Antigua’s luxury sailing resort and sponsor of Antigua Sailing Week, Nonsuch Bay Resort, is the sponsor of this exciting event which sees eight invited teams competing in the RS Elites normally based at the Resort.
