‘El Ocaso, the former Lazy Dog, is a 40-foot J/122 and has quite the winning pedigree in the Caribbean under both names in regattas in St Maarten, St Thomas, BVI and Antigua. Since purchasing her the current owners have been converting her to an all North Sails inventory including 3Di main and jibs. In the past off season the standing rigging has been replaced, the rig painted, the bottom painted and burnished, primary winches have been replaced, the traveler system has been upgraded and a number of overall upgrades have been made to the boat. El Ocaso is expected to rate CSA 0.950 this season with 104% headsails. She has 2 quarter berths for 1-2 people each, 2 salon berths for 1 person each and a v-berth for 1-2 people. She is a joy to sail and is always a very competitive boat in Caribbean regattas. El Ocaso is being made available for charter in St Thomas, BVI and Antigua for 2015. The charter package includes a Captain on board. Her charter fee has just been reduced to $19,000 USD for Antigua Sailing Week including two practice days.
