MEDIA REGISTRATION HOURS
Media registration will take place in the Copper & Lumber Store in the Nelson's Dockyard between 5pm and 6pm on Friday 25th April. This will be followed by a press briefing. It is important that members of the media try to attend this event as important information will be given out.
MEDIA BOATS
Two Media boats will be available each day for working media personnel wishing to get close to the action. Boats will leave from the race start location (Falmouth, Heritage Quay (Day 2) or Jolly Harbour) , exact times will be confirmed at the press briefing.
Gillian is in charge of placing people on boats and will be glad to help you. The initial allocation for media boats will be made during registration. If you should want to change your plans, and would like to be put on (if we have any places left) or taken off the list after all, please let us know as soon as possible at the media desk in the Event Village.
RACE RESULTS
Provisional race results will be available daily from the media centre as soon as they are made available to us by the race committee. On the final day, race results for that day will be publicly posted as usual. The press will however be given the final cumulative results as soon as possible, so they may conduct interviews.
