Upon submission of this form you will be contacted by email to confirm receipt of your entry form and intention to participate. At that time your yacht will be listed on the current entries on this web site. Your entry will not be complete and noted as such until full payment has been received.

AGREEMENT

IN CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTING MY ENTRY:

I hereby agree that:

  • The organising Authority are providing this Regatta only on the understanding that neither they nor their representatives bear any responsibility for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, howsoever caused to any competitor, skipper or crew as a result of their taking part in the Series;
  • By entering, each competitor warrants the suitability of the entered yacht for the races. Prior inspection of the yachts does not in any way limit the absolute responsibility in this respect of the Owner/Skipper entering the yacht;
  • In particular, owners shall accept full responsibility for the seaworthiness and safe navigation of their yachts and the competence of their crews, and use their own judgement whether to start, continue or retire from a race, in the existing or forecast conditions. Owners shall draw the attention of their crews to this disclaimer before the start of any race
  • Photographs, TV, Video and DVD Rights
  • Competitors hereby grant Stanford Antigua Sailing Week and its sponsors the unrestricted right and permission to use the name and the text, photograph or video footage of either themselves or the yacht they are sailing during the event, to be published or broadcast, including but not limited to Press and TV advertisement or internet, for either editorial or advertising purposes, or to be used in press information. In this respect, competitor's name and biographical material may also be used or repproduced in any way known.

I do for myself, my executors or administrators, heirs, assigns, waive any and all claims as may accrue to me or them against the Stanford Antigua Sailing Week Committee, the Caribbean Sailing Association, Sponsoring and Host Clubs, their officers, directors, members, measurers, employees and agents, as applicable, and any one or more of them arising out of the participation of my yacht in any of the above listed races, or from any related activities. I do further agree to and do hereby indemnify the aforesaid organisations and persons from any claim, demand or judgement against them, including the costs of attorney's fees and expenses incurred in the defense of such claims etc. made or brought by a guest or crew member of my yacht or their executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin and assigns arising out of my yachts participation in the aforesaid races or any related activities.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON ENTRIES:

        • Classes will be confirmed or altered by the final decision of the classification committee.
        • All Yachts must have a 2008 Caribbean Sailing Association measurement certificate.
        • A printed Brochure must be produced to show that a boat is a Charter boat.
        • Owner to be a citizen or normally resident; (refer to programme for definitions)
